Wuthering Heights
Mr Lockwood meets his landlord, Mr Heathcliff, and finds him very interesting. Mr Heathcliff is a serious man who treats harshly to everyone around him. Mr Lockwood also finds his landlord mysterious, and asks Mrs Nelly Dean, his maid, about his story. To Mr Lockwood’s surprise, Mr Heathcliff and his family has an interesting past, full of love, envy and pain, and nothing is as simple as it seems.
Lord Jim
Jim is a young man who wants to spend his life at sea. He is good at his job, and he becomes the chief mate of a ship despite his young age. He is full of dreams, and doesn’t mind having accidents or hard conditions at sea. However, after a terrible accident, his whole life changes. He loses everything, and he is full of guilt because of his actions. He loses his joy of life until Captain Marlow helps him build a new life in a new land. In his new life, he becomes the savior of people; he is now called “Lord” Jim.
